Choose the black color to provide better identity protection by making it hard to observe at a glance while still giving clear identification at a closer inspection.
NOTE - Privacy vs. Visibility:
If privacy is more important, solid color (black) is the most discreet and requires the tag to be tilted or held at a certain angle to reveal the engraved information.
If visibility is more important, any clear colors (transparent, blue, green, fluorescent) will work best.
The frosted colors are in between and the information is very visible by putting the tag against a bright backdrop (e.g. light, blue sky).

I continue to order from this company as they have quality items. Every time I order they come out looking great. The clear colors show the name nicely. Making it easy to read. The black hides it but you can still read them. These tags have held up very well. I use these for my kid's lunchbox tag, drumstick bag tag and other smaller items. I haven't had one of this style break on me. Only had one of a thinner styles break and that was because my son shut it in the trunk lid. So they do hold up to a good amount of use. I have been using this company for about the last 2 years for all our bag tag needs and will continue to do so.
